🧮 Preparation tips

For a dosage of 15% in a 50/50 PG/VG base :

With the 10 ml bottle

  • Pour in the 10 ml of Heisenberg concentrate to an empty bottle.
  • Add approximately 56.7 ml of base, with or without nicotine.
  • You will obtain approximately 66.7 ml of finished e-liquid.

With the 30 ml bottle

  • Pour in the 30 ml of Heisenberg concentrate to an empty bottle.
  • Add 170 ml of base, with or without nicotine.
  • You will obtain approximately 200 ml of finished e-liquid.

Then close the bottle, shake it vigorously, and leave the preparation to steep for approximately 2 to 5 days. Shake the mixture regularly during this period.

The dosage can be adjusted according to the base ratio:

  • Approximately 13 % with a 70/30 PG/VG base.
  • Approximately 15 % with a 50/50 PG/VG base.
  • Approximately 17 % with a 30/70 PG/VG base.

Advice & Precautions

1. CHOOSE A BASE

This e-liquid is a concentrated aroma to be diluted in a base. DO NOT VAPE ALONE! You can find a selection of basics in the DIY/Basic category. The base will constitute 80 to 90% of your e-liquid depending on the dosage of concentrated aroma that you make.

A base is an unflavored liquid made up of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG) and possibly nicotine (for nicotine bases). Propylene glycol (PG) promotes the “hit” (the sensation of throat contraction sought by smokers) in addition to nicotine. It produces a small amount of steam. Its use can be problematic on certain atomizers and cause leaks due to its low viscosity. Vegetable glycerin (VG) produces a lot of vapor and tends to dissipate slowly into the air. However, it can slightly alter the aromas by softening them (sweet taste) as well as the "hit". Vegetable glycerin is relatively viscous and clogs the atomizer resistance more quickly.

Consequently, 50PG/50VG bases represent for many vapers the ideal ratio between hit and vapor. The bases in 30PG/70VG or 20PG/80VG and 100% are more used by experienced vapers using reconstructable equipment, they provide denser vapor, softer flavors but a less significant hit. Be careful to choose your base carefully according to your equipment, some clearomizers (entry level) do not support e-liquids with too high a VG level due to their viscosity.


2. DILUTE THE CONCENTRATE IN A BASE

  • WASH YOUR HANDS, WORK OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, ON A CLEAN WORKTOP.
  • Using a syringe or pipette, fill an empty bottle with your ready-to-use base. Choose your bottles according to the volume you want to obtain after preparation.
  • Nicotine-containing base should be handled with great care. We advise you to use latex gloves and protective glasses for maximum safety, which you can find in the DIY/Accessories category.
  • Shake your flavor bottles before use.
  • Add a few drops of aroma(s) (See dosage recommendations on the product sheet). Remember that your final eliquid must contain: 85% base + 13% concentrated aroma + 2% additive (For example, to make 10ml of e-liquid: put 8.5ml of base, the remaining +/- 1.5ml will be the flavorings and additives).
  • Optional: add one or more additives.
  • Shake vigorously for 10 to 20 seconds and let sit for the flavors to mature.
  • Wash your hands again, clean your equipment and your work surface.
  • Write down your recipe to make it later or pass it on.



3. MATURATION (STEEP)
Maturation is a crucial stage, it is the time necessary for your preparation to reach its highest degree of aromatic development. Depending on the type of aromas, the maturation time will be more or less long:

  • Fruity mono-aroma: 0 to 5 days.
  • Complex fruity aromas (several aromas): 3 to 7 days if composed only of fruit.
  • Mint, spice, anise, licorice, coffee, vanilla flavors: 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Gourmet aromas: 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Tobacco type aroma: minimum 2 weeks.


4. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE AND STORAGE

DO NOT USE IN CASE OF RESPIRATORY OR CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE. THE PRODUCT CONTAINS GLYCERIN. GLYCERIN CAN PROMOTE, BY DEHYDRATING ACTION, THE APPEARANCE OF HYPERGLYCEMIA AND GLYCOSURIA IN CONSUMERS SUFFERING FROM A DIABETIC PATHOLOGY. CONSUME IN MODERATION. REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/SAFETY INFORMATION SHEETS.
For optimal effectiveness of your e-liquids, be sure to store them in a dry place away from light. Finally, so that the flavor does not alter, remember to recap your bottle after use.


5. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Consider giving your e-liquid bottles a second life by reusing them, for example for your DIY preparations. If your vial contained nicotine, do not pour its contents down your drains. The latter would in fact risk contaminating groundwater. Do not put your vial in your usual plastic sorting bin either.
Be sure to drop off your bottle of nicotine e-liquid at a collection point for solvents and phytosanitary products. If in doubt, we invite you to contact your usual recycling center.
